Breast Pump Benefit

Teachers Health Trust, in accordance with the Affordable Care Act, works with two in-network providers for your breast pump needs. Breast pumps obtained through these vendors are paid 100% by the plan with the deductible waived.

Lactation Support

Certified Lactation Counselors

Schedule a breastfeeding one-on-one consultation with a certified lactation counselor (CLC) at no cost.  You’ll receive support and tips for successful nursing.

From Network Providers or your OB/GYN

THT covers comprehensive lactation support and counseling at 100% by a trained provider during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. This can typically be performed by your OB/GYN.

Pregnancy Nutrition Support

Eating right is the key to a healthy life. Establish a one-on-one relationship with a registered dietitian. This is available at no cost, and there is no limit on the number of sessions.

Live Virtual Pregnancy Sessions

Join us for all things mom and baby. Taught by a registered dietitian, this online program will cover nutrition, exercise, breastfeeding basics, and postpartum care.
