We’re pleased to inform you about a new benefit available to all THT Health members: MyCareChoices second opinion service. This program provides access to expert medical opinions for a wide range of medical conditions, offering personalized guidance to ensure you receive the best care possible.
Teachers Health Trust provides this as a 100% complimentary benefit to all members enrolled in the Signature or Advantage plan.
Here’s how it works:
1. Getting Started: MyCareChoices will contact eligible members directly to guide you through the process and explain how to access this valuable benefit. Alternatively, you may sign up for the service online at any time.
2. No Cost: This service is completely free for THT Health members.
3. Next Steps: MyCareChoices may request additional medical records and imaging. Medical experts from renowned institutions will then review your case and provide a detailed second opinion to support your healthcare decisions.
4. Coverage unaffected: Receiving a second opinion does not change whether or not a procedure is covered under your health plan.
